Inspired by the works of an Italian architect, the Mourao family finished the complex in 1743. Note that the decorative themes on the facades appear consistently throughout the property.     Very informative did 30 min guided tour which covered essentials. Wine tasting interesting comparing to Niagara on the Lake where we live. Grounds and gardens beautiful amazing historical site and info.

    Stunning place built in the 1800's by the same family. It's almost a museum. Old relics and beautiful gardens. You can also reserve a room for a few days or a week.
