  • Our 3rd visit to the park. It seems to be improving every time we visit. If you remember that it is a conservation park, charity and takes rescued species you should understand that you may not see everything you want to, they're animals after all. They have to run it for the animals, not the public. Okay, the food might be slightly more expensive than some places, but I don't mind paying for the upkeep of the animals rather than lining the pocket of some multi national. We all love the place, if you take the time to walk around a few times you'll see the majority of the animals, some are more active late on into the day. If you don't want to pay the extra take your own food. Go to the Polar bears first thing in the morning, then the big cats. Check out the otters, and Amur leopard last thing just before closing. It's a great place, prepare for a good walk, we did around 11miles! Take the time to stop and look at the enclosures don't rush. We think it's wonderful, they are looking to the future and are expanding facilities and adding more animals. Please check it out but have an open mind.
  • This park is absolutely STUNNING!!! Lots and lots of natural space for all the animals and viewing areas too are excellent. Not at all like a zoo and it is very obvious that the animals are well cared for. A fantastic family day out. Lots of eateries but also would recommend to take a picnic as there are some beautiful areas to sit and relax. The park is huge so go prepared with comfy shoes and lots of time to enjoy everything. There are play areas and walk through areas where you can be amongst the wallabies and lemurs.
