One of a kind!! Hands down the best massive castle I've visited. The visitor room (to learn history) holds a wealth of information. Live plays near the central tower was splendid. Go for it, you'll never regret. Spent more time than planned over here. Plenty of parking available in nearby areas.

Dover Castle was a joy to visit. Along with the fact it is a castle _ and what's not to like about castles? _ the interactive shenanigans made it thoroughly enjoyable. The kids, 5 and 8, really enjoyed the day too! There's a lot of walking up and down pretty steep hills so be prepared for that. In the historical sense, Dover Castle has something for everyone and is well worth a visit. We will go again.
